Shopping with Folkwear
Look for Folkwear patterns at your favorite sewing, fabric, weaving, or
craft supply shop, or click on Dealer Locations for the name of a dealer
in your area. If there is not a dealer in your area, you can order directly
from us with our secure shopping cart or by phone, mail, or fax.
Online ordering is fast and secure.
Find the pattern you're looking for in our Pattern Collections or Index,
add it to your shopping cart, and then continue shopping. To check
your shopping cart at any time, click the View Cart button on any
main page of the Pattern Collections (e.g. Asian, Retro).

Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Fax an order with your
credit card information

Order by mail.
Click on "Printable
Order Form" to get a paper copy and fill
it out, including complete credit card information. (This form is provided
in pdf format. If you do not have the free Acrobat Reader, you can
download it "here".) You can also write out your order, including
complete credit card information and signature, on a blank sheet of

Out of stock items.
We try to keep all patterns in stock at all times, but sometimes we
run out of something and must backorder. We will let you know when
this happens, and will ship the out-of-stock item as soon as it arrives.
About shipping
- U.S. shipping: We ship U.S. orders by First Class,
Priority Mail, or UPS Ground to a street address, for delivery within
4-8 days
of your
order. UPS is not available to U.S. post office boxes, or to Hawaii
and Alaska addresses, so these are sent by First Class or Priority
Mail.
- APO/FPO shipping: APO and FPO addresses are considered U.S.
addresses for purposes of shipping. However, orders to these addresses
are
subject to international security regulations and may be slightly delayed in
the destination countries.
- International shipping: International orders,
including Canada and Mexico, are shipped by Air Mail, for delivery
within 7-14 days of your order. During very busy times, such as
the end-of-year holiday season, international orders can be delayed
in Customs by as much as two additional weeks. Please note that our
international rates do not include duties or GST taxes, which may
be the responsibility of the receiver.
- Rush shipping: We
are happy to ship orders to continental U.S. addresses by UPS 2nd
Day Air for an additional $16.00 charge. Note that UPS
2nd Day Air is a "business day only" service. Guaranteed
Saturday delivery is an extra charge on top of the 2nd Day Air charge.
What's included in handling?
Handling charges on top
of actual postage costs cover the padded envelope or carton that protects
your order, overhead costs of our warehouse
such as lights and heat, payroll costs for our warehouse staff, mileage
to the post office, and time spent standing in line to hand-deliver
all parcels to postal staff according to new security regulations.
