A striking example of Scandinavian folk embroidery, the Scandinavian Sampler cross stitch folk embroidery kit features a design created for Folkwear Sewing Patterns for their Norwegian bunad (folk costume) pattern. The repeating design is filled with intricate eight-pointed stars and diamonds and three borders similar to those used for sleeves and neck plackets. Stitched in a traditional palette of leaf green, coral, black, yellow, and blue, it is shown finished as a wall hanging. Kit includes: 100% cotton 30ct Mikini white, DMC 100% cotton embroidery floss, John James size 24 needle, full color charts and instructions.  Please note: kit does not include lining fabric
