Italian Cotton Ramie Voile - Autumn

This rare Italian cotton ramie voile is lightweight and airy. It has the texture of a lightweight linen and is a bit stiffer than voile due to the ramie's natural fibers. It has a print of muted burnt umber and brown peonies on a tan background.  This fabric is semi-sheer with a gentle drape; you could use it as one layer or doubled up. Wonderful for light and airy garments.

Fabric is sold by the 1/2 yard (you may order multiples of 1/2 yards; all yardage is cut as one continuous length).

This fabric is great for patterns like our 102 French Cheesemaker's Smock, 203 Edwardian Underthings, 205 Gibson Girl Blouse, 210 Armistice Blouse, 215 Empire Dress, 223 A Lady's Chemise, and 227 Edwardian Gown. Also ideal for facings and linings.
