Washout Sashiko Panels - Garden Blocks Navy

This unique fabric panel features blocks of printed washout sashiko designs with a garden theme, and long borders.  Use the panels as a whole for making beautiful home decor or garments, or use the embroidered sections for appliqué, decorations, or in quilts.  Each panel is 24" long and has 10 different sashiko patterns to embroider, plus long borders.  The sashiko patterns wash away in a regular wash cycle. So any area that you do not embroider will wash away and leave a solid cream-colored fabric. 

Base fabric is a smooth, medium-weight, navy broadcloth. The center sashiko designs measure 6.25"x6.25"

This fabric is perfect for home sewing projects (just about anything in our 305 A Japanese Interior), but also great for making or adding to a kimono (113 Japanese Kimono), or 129 Japanese Hapi and Haori, or 112 Japanese Field Clothing. 

Add sashiko thread and needles to complete your project.

Fabric is sold by the panel. Each panel is 24" (and 46" wide), and is packaged.
