Misses Extra Small to 2XL.

A beautiful three-piece sewing pattern based on 18th century and early 19th-century Ottoman Empire fashions, including the flowing entari gown, fitted vest, and jacket.

The Entari (or robe) features optional waist-shaping darts, plunging v-front neckline, button loop front closures, flowing bell sleeves, and free floating ankle length panels. It can be worn as a gown under the vest or as a coat to wear as top layer.

The unlined semi-fitted Vest or cropped top has a low-cut curved neckline, curved princess seams, and button loop front closures. This easy sew garment can be quickly bound along the edges and lavishly embellished with braid, sequins, machine or hand embroidery (traditional embroidery designs are included in pattern).

The short Jacket (Yelek or Mintan) has a gently curving from hemline and bell sleeves that can fit over the Entari (robe), allowing the Entari sleeves to drape sensuously.  This quick sew garment with bound edges is perfect for elaborate fabric and embellishment.

These garments are perfect for wearable artists, costumers, belly dancers, and reenactors. Add elaborate embellishment with machine embroidery, braid trim application, and beadwork for a lavish look. Wear with #106 Turkish Coat and the Turkish pants from #119 Sarouelles for a complete and authentic look.

Suggested fabrics: For the Entari, lightweight drapey silk, polyester, rayon for a gown; or medium-weight silk, linen, cotton, or wool for a coat. For the Jacket and Vest, all weights of silk, linen, velvet, cotton, wool, felt, denim, brocade, satin, suede, upholstery fabric.
