Authentic detailing instructions, with lace insertion, are included in the pattern.

Also, included in this pattern, is a Toddler's Dress (View C), so little girls needn't envy their siblings finery. The Toddler's Dress is modeled on the same lines as the Christening Gown. The sleeves are bodice are similar, but with a buttoned back closing. The skirt is shortened to a practical modern length. This is a dress that can take a little miss from playtime to dress up, depending on fabric choice.

Suggested Fabrics: View A - sheer or lightweight cottons and blends such as batiste, lawn, organdy, or voile. View B - 100% cotton batiste. View A or B Optional Skirt Lining - cotton broadcloth and blends. View C - Lightweight cottons, and blends such as calico, dotted swiss, lawn, broadcloth, or challis.

This pattern is available as a Paper pattern or PDF pattern.
