These patterns are deeply discounted because they have small defects that don't allow them to be sold at regular price.  The defects are things like small area of torn tissue (not real tissue, because we print on 18# paper, so they are pretty sturdy) or a damaged cover. The specific issue with each pattern is in the item name.  The tissue tears are easily fixed with tape.
