Enter Our Children's Pattern Contest

Join us for a CONTEST! We are so excited to announce a Children’s Pattern contest here at Folkwear. We want to invite you to enter your favorite children’s item created with one of our patterns. We will pick three winners, who will each receive a $30 Folkwear gift certificate. Make something adorable for a cutie you know and show off your sewing by joining our contest.

You can enter by tagging your post on Instagram or Facebook (with #folkwearchildren or #folkwearpatterns), or you can email your entry to us at info@folkwear.com. The contest starts March 1st, 2022 and goes until March 31. Detailed contest rules are below. 

Be sure to note, all of our Children’s patterns will be on sale for the whole month of March, so don’t wait, add your favorites to your collection today and get sewing!

1. Contest dates are March 1-31, 2022. Entries due by midnight EST, March 31, 2022. We will email winners, and they will be announced in our April newsletter. Don’t get the newsletter? Subscribe today right here!
2. Item must be made from a currently available Folkwear pattern.
3. Your submission can be made on Facebook, Instagram or by email to info@folkwear.com.  But please only one submission per person, per item. Make sure you tag us in your social media post (Facebook: @folkwearpatterns; Instagram: @folkwearsewing.patterns) UPDATED to say you will need to make sure any posts are set to PUBLIC and are posted on your own profile. 
4. You may submit up to 3 images of each item. 
5. You may submit multiple items, but they need their own posts or email. 
6. Items you have previously reviewed on our site or posted about are eligible for contest entry (just email us or re-post them). Garments you made years ago are also eligible!

Our suggestions for the best photos:

1. Item flat-lay shot (see this description). We suggest a light-colored table, bedsheet, or other neutral background.
2. Item detail shot showing construction detail or a modification you made.
3. A clear picture on the child who wears it.

NOTE:  All images submitted become eligible for Folkwear promotions and marketing. Submission implies permission to use images in promotion and marketing.
