FAQs

Shipping

How is my order shipped and when will I receive it?

We ship our orders within 1-2 business days of receiving it.  We ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail.  You should generally expect to receive your pattern(s) within 5 to 10 days.  We try to keep shipping costs down by using First Class Mail for 1-3 pattern orders, but First Class Mail does not provide tracking numbers. If you want a tracking number, choose First Class Package or Priority Mail.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.  If a customer has entered an incorrect address, we will re-ship the pattern at the cost of shipping for the customer.  Please email us if you feel your package has been lost.

International orders:  We can sometimes ship First Class Package International, but often must ship Priority Mail International.  Both provide tracking numbers, but cannot be tracked after they have left the US.  Orders to Canada take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive.  Orders outside of North America can take 2-4 weeks for delivery (though it can often be much shorter).

Returns

Do you accept returns?

We accept returns of unused paper patterns in their original packaging within 30 days of an order.  We will refund the full cost of the pattern when it is received back. We are unable to issue refunds for PDF patterns, sewing accessories, or for fabric.

Digital (PDF) downloads

How do I download my PDF pattern?

After checkout, you will be directed to a page where there is a link to download your PDF/digital pattern.  You will also receive an email with a link to download the pattern.  If you don't receive the email, check your junk folder.   You will have 3 attempts to download the pattern and save it.

How do I print a PDF pattern?

You can print the tiled, or at-home, version from your home computer and assemble them (tape the pages together). Pages fit A4 paper and 8.5x11" paper.  Or, you can have a print shop print the 36" or A0 version.
